Tom is a retired US Air Force pilot who has flown over 4500 hours in the B-57, T-33, F-106, C-131, and various general aviation aircraft. He is an avid Young Eagles Pilot, SERFI volunteer, and has served as the Young Eagles Coordinator for Chapter 108.
Gary is a past President of Chapter 108 and also serves as our Flight Advisor. He has been flying since 1968 and following his retirement from US Airways, he built and now flies his Zenith 601 aircraft.
Gary has been flying since 1968 and holds FAA certificates as a Control Tower Operator, Flight Engineer (Boeing 727) and Airline Transport Pilot with type ratings in the Boeing 707/720 and Airbus 319/320/321. After 20 years in the Air Force, and 13 years of airline flying, Gary retired from commercial aviation and now enjoys flying his homebuilt Zenith 601. He is a past President of Chapter 108, and an avid Young Eagles pilot.
Chad grew up spending almost every weekend with his dad flying RC aircraft and occassionally taking local flights in his Dad's Cessna 150. In 1987, while in college, he earned his private pilot certificate. After being away from flying for more than 20 years raising a family and serving in the U.S. Air Force, Chad returned to flying and earned his instrument rating in 2016. He is currently working on his commercial certificate with plans to become an Certified Flight Instructor. Chad is actively building a Cozy MkIV.
